Everyday when I wake up, I remember to give thanks for the new day that I’ve been blessed with. I give thanks for my family, my home, my business, my day, my relatives, my friends, I even thank Him for my coffee and breakfast. All throughout my day I remember to give thanks. I know that everything I have is because of God’s blessing, He has provided everything for me. I lack nothing because I have a thankful heart and mind. I am blessed and highly favored. It says in the bible that all things work together for good for those who love Him, so why wouldn’t I want to love Him, and trust Him, and give thanks to Him for all my needs.
I know how hard life can get, there are things that happen daily that we might not want to acknowledge. We try to run away from circumstances and not talk about them because we are scared of what others might think or we feel that it’s just crazy and it’s only in our heads, but as soon as you start talking to someone about it, you will realize that, that person might be going through that same situation or they had that same thought. Then remember to thank God for that person, that was there for you to talk too.
God wants to bless us and provide for us all the time, we just have to be thankful and accept Him for who He is. Yesterday I said “I want to eat more vegetables and fruits”. Late in the evening my door bell rang, I opened the door and a friend showed up with a bag of fresh fruit and a box of vegetables. It wasn’t even something that I prayed for I was just saying something about how I want to change the way I eat. God heard me, and sent someone with the exact things I asked for. Of course I was very thankful, and I can tell you many situations like that in my life that I have experienced.
See the God I serve loves justice, He is not an unjust God, He will fight my battles and provide everything that my family and I need. That’s because I am thankful in all things and in all situations, and He loves us and cares for us so much that He will give us all that we ask for and more than we ask for. God just wants us to trust Him, thank Him, and be grateful in all things.
God loves you, He has great plans for your life. Trust Him and be thankful everyday! You are not alone, reach out to someone.
